At Tennant Creek in June 2011, 11 RC holes were drilled for 1266 m. Although there was no visible mineralisation, assays indicate minor silver, lead, and copper in two of the holes.
Hole 31 was drilled into outcropping ironstone within a volcanic unit that was previously recognised as a rock chip geochemistry anomaly. This hole intersected 11 m at 0.73%Pb, 4.6g/t Ag and 960 ppm Cu from 26 m to 37 m depth. Nearby, Hole 26 intersected 2 m at 1.16%Pb and 2.6 g/t Ag between 166 m and 168 m in diorite. These results were sufficiently encouraging to retain the ground.
Follow up drilling at this prospect (Rolling Stone) will take place in 2012.
